WIKI'S

This is genius - what a time saver - a great way for groups to stay in touch and update without non stop emailing or phoning to everyone. You get to see what everyone is doing/thinking and add your say.
I think we can use it when we are working on group assignments and we all have trouble meeting up to discuss work. That way everyone is on the same page and can see how the others are tracking.

Also use it for training manuals and DIY guides - users can leave a comment on how good!!! it was plus can be easily assessed

  2. Yes - some good links here that some others in class have used. I like the ideas for using wikis in libraries.

Just a hint with posting in general and this is a hint for other people too - keep the posts short. In the electronic age peolpe suffer from the TLDR syndrome - too long didn't read - so try for shorter posts of around 200 words.
